ABOUT THE MMS BAND PROGRAM
Established in 1960, Marysville Middle School is located in Marysville, Washington about 45 minutes from Seattle. There are 880 students attending grades 6, 7, and 8. Currently, 200 students are being served by the band program. The purpose of the band program is bring students together for a life impacting music experience. Along with creating excellent music, students learn teamwork, community, preparedness, kindness, patience, responsibility, mentorship, leadership, goal-setting, risk-taking, and basic organizational skills that will make them successful in every area of their life.
